Fall

Two countem' two trees painted with acrylics on roughly 2" x 4" layered card stock my mom gave me. She's always giving me cool little surfaces to paint on, not to mention tons of sculpy, paint, and ideas as well! Thanks, Mom. Love you.

Kloudt

Kloudt
acrylic on canvas
2"x 2"

a small, textured, three-drip cloud in a shiny golden sky with highlights of blue, red, purple, green and beelack. Its called Kloudt because the background reminds me of some of the works of Austrian painter Gustav "Klimt".

Monster posters

Here are the four Classic Monster prints Eric and I have done so far. They are 11" x 17" and awesomely terrifying. Eric did the mummy and Frankenstein's Monster, and I did the Nosferatu and werewolf. Only 20 were made of each of these ones, and all are hand numbered and signed, only $15!! We still have lots of the original run of the frankenstein and werewolf prints a few posts down. The new ones had a few small changes done to them. Anyways...

Acuarela

Here's a couple of watercolors done last year. The first one has a slime-shiny snail slowly sliding down the mounted head of a wild boar. The second, titled A Friend of Owls, was painted on day one of two thousand and ten.
p.s. acuarela is watercolor in spanish!

Satan n' son

acrylic on canvas
5" x 7"
2011

an almost abstract painting of the devil and one of his many offspring (I'm sure he has lots).
Just to be clear, I know I have a lot of devilish art on this blog, but I am very much against evil and anything that stands for it. I just happen to think creepy, horned monsters and drooling, bloody demons make good subject matter for art. Satan sucks, and so does his son.

Monster Prints

Limited edition prints by me and my brother Eric. He did the Frankenstein monster, and I did the werewolf.  Only 50 prints made of each one, all hand numbered and signed. 11"x 17".

Bug Tooth

An upper molar (tooth #3 to be exact) I made at Sundance Dental. The patient requested a purple dragonfly, and that is what I gave her. I hope she liked it. I think Im going to start putting random bugs on all the teeth I make from now on, flies and cockroaches being at the top of the list, of course.

jukik,lll/i/-/

Here's a couple of stop-motions I did last year at at Tempe town lake with the help of my 5 year young one, Donovan (his is the first hand in Octopus and Apple). In the second one, The Feather, you can see people in boats in the background of a few of the shots.
Its titled jukik. lll/i/-/ because Donovan came up and started typing random keys in the title slot.

Marmal

An acrylic painting (somewheres around 9 x 12) I did around last halloween. This creepy orange guy is spending his nights under bridges, doing tricks like "the removable thumb" for no one in particular.

Sketchy

So I mailed off my sketchbook for the sketchbook project today. Hope it gets to Brooklyn in one piece, and by that I mean I hope to learn how to speak poltergeist by midnight.

Here's a few more sketches to the tune of Science Project Gone Wrong!!
